When The Spice Girls Ruled The World!

BY Abhishek Mathur | PUBLISHED: 5 August 2016

The Spice Girls ruled the music world for a brief period in the 1990’s. Formed in 1994, the group originally consisted of Melanie Brown (“Scary Spice”), Melanie Chisholm (“Sporty Spice”), Emma Bunton (“Baby Spice”), Geri Halliwell (“Ginger Spice”), and Victoria Beckham, née Adams (“Posh Spice”).

Their debut album ‘Spice’ sold more than 31 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album by a female group in history. Beyond album sales and sell out concerts, the group became massive pop stars – such hysteria had not been since ‘Beatlemania’ in the 1960’s.

Let’s re-live the infectious hit songs of the Spice Girls!
