BuzzFeed Posts Unverified Claims on Donald Trump, Stirring Debate

Washington: Russian intelligence agencies were in possession of personally compromising material related to Donald Trump, according to a summary of unsubstantiated reports presented by the chiefs of America’s intelligence agencies last week to President Obama and the President-elect.

The summary is based on memos generated by political operatives seeking to derail Trump’s candidacy, The New York Times reports.

The memos claim the Russian intelligence agencies are in possession of sex videos involving prostitutes with Trump in a 2013 visit to a Moscow hotel. The videos were supposedly prepared as “kompromat,” or compromising material, for “blackmailing” him in the future.

Trump has, however, decried as a “political witch hunt” the media reports.

BuzzFeed News has published the full document so that Americans can reach to their own conclusions about the allegations that have sparked a politcal firestorm in the US.
